SASACABA INDIA LEPROSY FOUNDATION

THE LEPROSY MISSION TRUST INDIA Is the largest leprosy-focused non-governmental organization in India and is headquartered in New Delhi, India. The Organization works with people affected by Leprosy and other neglected tropical diseases ( NTDs), People with disabilities and marginalized communities especially women.

SASACABA works for only leprosy affected families and for their childrens for their studies and livelihood. they are working in 9 states likes, uttar pradesh, maharashtra, chhattisgarh, bihar, jharkhand, madhya pradesh, delhi, west bengal and odisha. they have arround 10 tuition centers in india for that students who are not eligible to take their tuition classes. they have 4 tuition centers in m.p. 3 tuition centers in west bengal, 2 centers in jharkhand and 1 in maharashtra. they also work for that candidates who couldn’t complete their studies by any reasons. they skilled them and placed them accordingly so that they can be self depend.

 

HOW THEY SELECT STUDENTS FOR SCHOLARSHIP

Every year they upload scholarship forms on their official website. After receiving the applications they sort 100 students out of all applications on merit basis and then they conduct their interview session. After the interview session they shortlist around 50 students for scholarship. Out of them 25 students for medical courses and 25 for other management courses.

LITTLE FLOWER NGO

LITTLE FLOWER NGO is a non-governmental organization which is located in north bihar. They have their particular colony (leprosy colony) and they work for them only. They provide scholarships to the candidates who are residing there for higher education and livelihood. They select around 20-25 students per year on merit basis. students can choose their selected stream for higher education and can apply for scholarships.
